"Have Respect"
I
recently got pulled over for not using my turn signal. The officer
was nice, and let me know why he pulled me over. I followed
his example by being polite and he let me go, after telling
me to get the light fixed. I have some friends who are rude
to officers, and they usually get tickets, but a good friend
once told me to always be polite.
Geoff MacKay told me that all they usually expect is to be respectful,
and this is understandable, as officers are always concerned
about danger when pulling people over. I thought I would share
my experience in the hope that we can all respect the job police
do, and maybe get out of more tickets.
